This notice concerns information on Tipd's website, application, help guides and related communications. Tipd is operated by Black Bubble Solutions Ltd. Read it with our Terms and Conditions, which govern the service. It does not replace our contractual obligations or remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Our content explains Tipd and offers general information about tips, donations and related topics. We aim to keep it accurate, but guidance may not address your particular circumstances or every jurisdiction. Contact us about a suspected error or a feature you need to verify.
Nothing here withdraws an express contractual promise or excuses misleading information, negligence or a breach for which we are legally responsible. Current availability, displayed checkout charges and the Terms govern the relevant service, subject to mandatory law.
General explanations about tipping, employment rules, tax, VAT, charity obligations or Gift Aid are not individual legal, tax or accounting advice. Whether a particular arrangement meets an employer's, worker's or charity's obligations depends on its facts and applicable law. Direct payment to a guide does not by itself determine employment status or remove every reporting or payroll obligation.
Recipients and organisations remain responsible for their own tax, employment, fundraising and record-keeping requirements. Tipd collects Gift Aid declarations and provides exports where available; it does not submit claims or guarantee eligibility or HMRC acceptance.
Examples, suggested amounts and illustrations are explanatory. We do not guarantee a minimum number or value of tips, donations, increased income or a particular commercial outcome. Illustrative scenes or stock images are not evidence that the depicted people use Tipd.
Testimonials and case studies describe particular experiences. Results depend on factors including the audience, activity, timing, presentation and use of the service; a reported improvement is not a guarantee of what another user will achieve. Where a commercial relationship or incentive is relevant to an endorsement, it should be disclosed with that material.
A Tipd profile, Team or completed verification is not our endorsement of a person, tour operator, charity or cause. We do not guarantee the underlying services or how a donation is used. Report suspected impersonation or misuse to support.
Links to external websites and third-party services are provided for the relevant purpose. Their operators control their own content and services. We are not responsible for external content solely because we link to it, but this does not remove responsibility for our own statements, choices or obligations.
Payment processing and bank payouts depend on Ryft and its partners, verification, account support and bank processing. Published payout times are normal estimates subject to the Terms. Security measures and verification reduce risk; they do not guarantee the absence of fraud or disputes.
Tipd is primarily designed for voluntary tips and donations. Other payments are subject to the law, provider permissions and conditional-use requirements in the Terms; the availability of a payment page does not approve every business activity. The underlying seller remains responsible for its goods or services and applicable buyer rights. Tipd does not verify or guarantee every underlying transaction, but remains responsible for its own service and non-excludable duties.
Recipients and authorised Administrators must choose fee settings lawful for their activity and give accurate price information. Availability of a fee option, or describing a charge as a platform fee, is not a legal assurance. General guidance cannot authorise prohibited surcharges or remove required consent, refund or tax obligations. Payment errors, refunds and disputes are addressed under the Refund Policy.
The protections and limits in section 14 of the Terms apply. In particular, this notice does not exclude fraud, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or other liability or rights that cannot lawfully be limited. It is not a blanket exclusion of responsibility for the operation of Tipd.
